Abstract:The SysLab method, which is currently under development at the Technische Universitaet Muenchen, provides description techniques for the early phases of software engineering (requirements analysis, requirements definition and definition of the logical architecture). This report presents the techniques provided by the method for describing data. It considers the motivation for these techniques as well as their specific syntax and formal semantics.
